APIGRAF welcomes Tecnimprensa and PrintControl, the first companies to join the association as extraordinary members. Their membership marks a new chapter in APIGRAF’s relationship with suppliers to the graphic industry, giving them a place in the association’s community in a sector to which they contribute every day.
For many suppliers, the relationship with APIGRAF and its members is not new. Over the years, they have accompanied the industry’s development, contributing equipment, consumables, technological solutions, support and specialist knowledge. This category now gives formal expression to that closeness, welcoming companies that have long expressed an interest in joining the association.
“The decision to welcome extraordinary members reflects the Board’s wish to bring everyone involved in the life of the graphic industry closer to APIGRAF. Suppliers know the challenges facing companies, follow their development and contribute to the solutions the sector needs. It makes perfect sense for them to be part of our community too. Our community is growing, and that closeness makes us stronger,” says Paul Golden, APIGRAF’s Director of Communication and Image.
Tecnimprensa
Tecnimprensa supplies equipment, consumables and raw materials, as well as specialist solutions and services for the graphic and packaging industries. For its CEO, Duarte Alves de Sousa, membership is an opportunity to strengthen a longstanding relationship with the sector.
“Tecnimprensa has closely followed the graphic industry and its professionals for many years. Joining APIGRAF as an extraordinary member is an opportunity to strengthen that relationship, participate more directly in the life of the sector and contribute to a community where experience and knowledge can be shared,” says Duarte Alves de Sousa.
PrintControl
PrintControl provides solutions and services for the graphic arts, including printing, automation, finishing and support. Diogo Alves de Sousa, the company’s managing director, highlights the importance of closer ties between everyone working for the industry’s development.
“Suppliers work in constant contact with graphic companies and the practical challenges they face. Being part of APIGRAF allows us to deepen that dialogue, better understand the sector’s priorities and contribute our experience to finding solutions,” says Diogo Alves de Sousa.
A closer community
The extraordinary membership category is intended for companies supplying equipment, raw materials, software and services to the graphic, packaging and digital communication industries. Membership allows them to follow the association’s initiatives and access, under the applicable conditions, opportunities for contact, information, support and visibility.
APIGRAF thanks Tecnimprensa and PrintControl for placing their trust in the association.
